No, extra virgin olive oil is produced in 63 countries around the world, some as exotic as Uzbekistan, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Ukraine, Iraq, Kuwait, Oman, Saudi Arabia (where there are some of the largest modern olive estates on the planet) as well as Namibia, Botswana, New Zealand and Gulf of Canada.
