Milling during production of olive oil?

Milling is the part of the olive grinding process carried out in oil mills. It is the act of grinding the olives into a continuous paste. In the traditional methods, the grinding was carried out by a wheel or mill wheel on a slab, and currently this is done using hammer-mills, which are stainless steel hammers swinging at high speed.
